About Me

My writing journey began during my senior year in a Creative Writing class taught by Mr. Matthew Thomas, the author of the New York Times bestselling novel We Are Not Ourselves, at Xavier High School in New York City. Since then, I have continued to write on and off. My first flash fiction and flash nonfiction pieces were published in the Fall 2024 issue of Wilderness House Literary Review.​

Outside of writing, I am a lifelong martial artist and regularly train in Kyokushin Karate. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Japanese Studies and a Master's Degree in International Education. I currently work as an international student advisor. I speak English and Japanese fluently, and I am also learning Irish.
